The Sawbone Sinus Elevation Practice Block is available in #10, #15, and #20 densities and is used to practice probing and lifting the sinus membrane with the 4.4 mm + 5.0 mm Depth Stop Crestal Sinus Elevation Drill Sets. Made out of solid polyurethane foam, the thickness is parallel to the direction of the rise, and the density ± 10% meets ASTM F 1839. It is designed with one side thicker to model variate drilling depths. The openings are lined with pliable Rubber-Sep which can be easily lifted with the sinus elevation protocol to simulate the probing resistance of the sinus membrane.
